Exploring the intersection of technology and law.

MSc in Computer Engineering, PhD student in Computer Law.

About Me

My name is Antonino Iaria and I am a graduated computer engineer with a strong focus on blockchain technologies and distributed systems. Currently pursuing a PhD in Law Science and Technology at the University of Bologna, I have extensive experience in developing blockchain applications, smart contracts, and innovative digital solutions. My academic and professional background spans computer engineering, research scholarships, and hands-on projects in industrial processes verification, decentralized marketplaces, and emerging technologies. With expertise in multiple programming languages and a deep understanding of blockchain platforms like Ethereum, Algorand, Stellar and IOTA, I am committed to exploring the intersection of technology, law, and digital innovation. Here are a few technologies I've been working with recently:
  • Move language
  • Self Sovereign Identity
  • Nuxt
  • React
  • Node
  • Kotlin

Experience

PhD student in Law Science and Technology. Research focus on use of smart contracts in the legal field. Collaboration with IOTA Foundation for the development of decentralized solution using Meta’s Move language.
Research Scholarship - Consortium GARR
Feb 2024 - Oct 2024
Winner of 1 of the 10 national scholarship for digital innovative services for the Italian research network consortium. The proposal dealt with leveraging Self Sovereign Identity paradigm to Italian universities and research institutes.
Research Scholarship - Sapienza University
